Our thanks to Mitt Romney & Family

Our family and so many of our friends have been working very hard for the Mitt Romney for President campaign, and we are very sad today. Our man Mitt bowed out today after facing a massive uphill battle for Republican delegates. He's a good man and carried himself well for this year-long campaign and I am proud to have been a Romney volunteer.

The experience has taught us much about the process during this exciting and stressful time. We are grateful for his efforts, and we hope he'll stay active in GOP politics for years to come. 2012?

The next generation of cousins

Cecillie's son James and Nathan's son Harrison came over along with their parents for dinner last week. Brendan's holding Harrison and Aaron's trying to hold Baby James. It's fun to have six of the eight next generation grandchildren together (from the Escamilla line). When Katie and Lane return from overseas we can take a photo of Gracie and Sophia.

Primary class!

I just started team-teaching a new primary class full of fun, active and spiritual kids. They're really a lot of fun, as these pictures show. Last week, Suzi Huckvale organized the primary group into groups that sat on the floor for a few minutes during a fun singing exercise. You can see Brendan and his friends Michael and Brock at the right.

Second day of the New Year!

Well, we're off to the races! School started and we're back at work. We're hoping 2008 is an awesome year. We have a church breakfast on Saturday and baseball registration to work at on Saturday. Lots to do! Tucker escaped today for a few moments. Scared Liz, but she found him at the back door trying to get in from the cold! And it's cold and wet!

Love these older photos!

These photos were taken in Summer and early Fall 2005. Love 'em!

Happy New Year 2008!

Welcome 2008! Here's to an excellent year full of fun, joy and happiness! We celebrated the New Year last night with the Huckvales and several of their relatives. We got there at 6:30 and ate delicious egg rolls (made by Liz), pigs in a blanket, Swedish meatballs, chips & homemade salsa, guacamole, fruit, vegetables and chocolate fondue. It was awesome! We played games, talked, read and at midnight we went out and sprayed silly string at each other! 2008 is going to be an awesome year!
